New ways of promoting creativity need to be developedThe shift to remote work in the wake of the corona pandemic has had a radical impact on interaction within organizations. The opportunity for spontaneous exchange of ideas has significantly decreased and interaction has become more task centric. In a survey conducted by the Fast Expert Team, almost 40% of respondents working in the private sector (N = 1322) mentioned the problems related to interaction and information sharing as the main challenge following the transition to remote work. These problems inevitably have an impact on the creativity of work communities and thus on the innovativeness of organizations, but remote work can also create entirely new opportunities to foster creativity. It is now important to find out what these opportunities are and how the conditions for creativity are ensured in remote work and in the hybrid model of the future, where remote work plays a more central role in working life than before the pandemic.
